சர்வதேச அளவில் சாதனை படைக்கும் திரைத்துறையைச் சேர்ந்த கலைஞர்களை கௌரவிக்கும் வகையில் கடந்த 2014ஆம் ஆண்டு IARA Awards விருதுகளை வழங்கி வருகிறது. 

2018ம் ஆண்டிற்கான  IARA விருது வழங்கும் விழா நேற்று நடைபெற்றது. இந்த ஆண்டிற்கான சர்வதேச சிறந்த நடிகருக்கான பட்டியலில் எட்டு பேரில் தமிழ் நடிகர் விஜயும் ஒருவராக இருந்து வந்தார். இந்நிலையில் நேற்று நடைபெற்ற விழாவில் சிறந்த சர்வதேச நடிகருக்கான விருதினை வெல்பவர் "விஜய்" என்று IARA அவார்ட்ஸ் அறிவித்தது. இந்த விருதினை விஜய் மெர்சல் படத்திற்காக பெற்றார்.
